33rd Annual Oak Park Book Fair. More than 50,000 used books, most priced at $1 or less. Admission: $5 per person. 7 to 10 p.m. Oak Park-River Forest High School, 210 N. Scoville. Sponsored by the Friends of the Oak Park Public Library.

at the Dole Branch LibrarySaturday Morning Live! See Karl Kindt III as a knight in genuine armor. Hear stories of chivalry, touch real armor, try on a helmet. Free, but tickets are required. 10:30 a.m. Dole Branch. Sponsored by the Friends of the Oak Park Public Library.

at the Maze Branch LibraryOak Park Creative Network: Workshop on "Networlding" presented by Dale Youngkrantz, presidents of DTY Associates. Youngkrantz is a certified facilitator of the internationally celebrated professional development organization, Networlding, Inc. He will address the principles of Networlding, a networking philosophy and practice developed by Melissa Giovagnoli and successfully used by corporations and individuals around the world to enhance personal interaction and professional communications at all levels.

The Network, hosted by Wendy Lalli, a private career counselor, encourages and supports the career aspirations of job-seeking and working professionals. 7 p.m. Maze Branch.

at the Dole Branch LibraryYoung Adult Coffeehouse. Poetry slam. 7 to 9:30 p.m. Dole Branch.

Saturday, 8/16

at the Maze Branch LibrarySense of Urgency Theatre presents "Ole Time Radio Hour." See radio plays enacted on stage with radio props of old. The Senses of Urgency revives three hilarious episodes of the comedy classics, The Bickersons, and Who's on First?, the vaudeville classic from Abbott & Costello.

Admission is free. A free acting seminar will follow with the Sense of Urgency ensemble. The Ole Time Radio Hour is sponsored in part by the Oak Park Area Arts Council. 2 p.m. Maze Branch.

Monday, 8/18

at the Maze Branch LibraryNear West Suburban Bonsai Society. Led by Roger Thompson, the group works on styling problems brought in by plant owners. 7 to 8:30 p.m. Maze Branch.
